Historical City Walks
A guided historical city walk is the ideal way to discover Leeuwarden! Leeuwarden Tour has an enthusiastic and knowledgeable group of guides, that can tell you all you want to know about the fascinating history of this town. There is a selection of walks available, with various historical subjects and along different routes. A tour of the Town Hall or a guided bike ride is also an option. English- and German-speaking guides are available, as well as some that speak other languages. The tours take about 90 minutes.

Self-guided walk
Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden offers a diverse array of walking guides such as Highlights Leeuwarden or themed ones about the history of the Orange monarchy in the city. These walking guides are available in Dutch/English/German/French and on sale for €7,50 at our shop at the Groeneweg 1. some of them are also available/downloadable in PDF-format:
